Bellevue Family YMCA Hurricanes

At the Y, swim team means more than just laps. Kids build skills, boost fitness, and grow confidence -- all while having fun and being part of a supportive team. With regular practices and optional meets, swimmers of all levels can improve and shine together.

ABOUT THE SWIM TEAM

• Ages: 6-15
• Participation Requirements:
  -- Beginner group: Swim team members must be able to pass the YMCA's swim test.
  --Intermediate group: Must be able to swim Freestyle and Backstroke proficiently.
  --Advanced group: Must be able to swim Freestyle, Backstroke, and Breaststroke proficiently. Familiarity with Butterfly is preferred.
• Practice Days: All practices are Mondays through Thursdays (4 times a week)
  --Beginners: 5-5:45 p.m.
  --Intermediate: 5:45-6:30 p.m.
  --Advanced: 6:30-7:15 p.m.
• Cost (Monthly): $95/members, $115/non-members, the fall season runs August 14-December 17
